Day Trip Bavarian Oberland & Tyrol

Why not try a guided day trip to meet new people and discover new routes? These tours start and end in the Munich South area.

Tour Description

This challenging yet enjoyable day trip combines the tranquil landscapes of the Bavarian Oberland with the high alpine roads of Tyrol. Starting in the Isar Valley, the route leads via Lenggries to the expansive Jachenau – a true motorcyclist’s paradise with little traffic, flowing curves, and breathtaking alpine panoramas.

The route continues via Wallgau and Mittenwald into Tyrol. From Kematen, the highlight of the tour begins: the climb to Kühtai. Numerous hairpin bends, varying radii, and spectacular views guarantee exhilarating riding. At over 2,000 meters above sea level, Kühtai invites you to take a well-deserved break.

The descent continues to Ochsengarten, a peaceful mountain village nestled amidst the high alpine landscape. From here, the tour continues at a leisurely pace back to the Inn Valley and, via Seefeld and Mittenwald, back to the Isar Valley, where it concludes in the picturesque village of Icking.
